Advance Reservation

The Event Planning Office is excited to announce the dates of the Advance Reservation process for the 2018 – 2019 Academic Year. You will be able to submit your requests beginning at 8am on Monday, February 19 until 5pm on Friday, February 23, 2018.

MANDATORY Annual Student Organization Registration

In order to register for the 2018-2019 academic year your student organization must complete the five steps of registration.

Step One: R.S.V.P. for a registration training session that works best for your schedule. There are a wide selection of sessions; however, space is limited. You MUST R.S.V.P. to save your spot.

Step Two: Complete the pre-attendance form.

Step Three: Attend the registration training for which you R.S.V.P.'d.

Step Four: Submit your organization's registration packet on GobblerConnect.

Step Five: Wait for an email from Student Engagement and Campus Life. Once you receive an approval message from SECL your organization is officially registered for the 2018-2019 academic year!

Looking for a place to advertise your next event or student organization meeting?

Squires Student Center has two new bulletin boards ready for you!  Located across from Commonwealth Ballroom, the bulletin boards are in a prime spot for advertising on-campus. Remember to bring any flyers (11 x 17 or smaller) to the Squires Welcome Desk for the stamp of approval.  

University Student Leadership Awards (USLAs)

Student Engagement and Campus Life (SECL) is pleased to celebrate the phenomenal contributions Virginia Tech students make across campus and within the greater community through their membership in student organizations (RSOs, UCSOs, USLPs). The purpose of the University Student Leadership Awards is to honor individuals who exemplify excellence in their role as student leaders. The University Student Leadership Awards highlight student organizations that are committed to fulfilling their mission and purpose while embracing the spirit of Ut Prosim.

Take a moment to nominate some great student leaders and organizations! Deadline to nominate is March 1 at 10pm!
