Johnston Student Center was designed and built in 1990 as a student center to create, in addition to Squires Student Center, a place for students to build community and function as a home-away-from-home. The building features classroom space and an information desk on the first floor, VIVA Market on the second floor, and offers space on the third floor for relaxing and studying.

Dining Options

VIVA Market features fresh, convenient, and local options for students on the go. VIVA offers a wide variety of Grab & Gobble selections, as well as customizable items including salads, coffees, and cold drinks. Accepts dining plans, Hokie Passport, and credit/debit cards.

Meeting Spaces

Johnston Student Center provides multiple reservable meeting rooms. Please contact the Event Planning Office to reserve a room.
