Gobblerfest

Welcome!
Gobblerfest is an annual involvement fair to promote opportunities with student organizations and departments to kick start students’ journey to ExperienceVT. This free event was conceived in the fall of 2008 and has quickly become a highlight of the start of the academic year. We hope you join us!
Gobblerfest will take place on August 28, 2026 from 4-7 p.m.
We encourage students planning to attend to browse our student organizations on GobblerConnect and come ready to experience over 700 booths, live performances, and rides - rain or shine!
Important Update
Beginning in 2026, Gobblerfest will be dedicated exclusively to Virginia Tech student organizations and campus departments. Community businesses, organizations, and local sponsors interested in connecting with students and their families are invited to participate in the Family Weekend Community Fair on October 3, 2026. We anticipate 8,000 family members to attend Fall Family Weekend. If you are interested in participating in the Community Fair, please fill out the Family Weekend Community Fair Interest form.
Registration for the 2026 Gobblerfest will open on July 1. Check back for more updates!
