Typically, you will not be required to present your Hokie Passport when purchasing tickets. However, proper identification (driver’s license or Hokie Passport) is required if you are paying for a purchase with a personal check, credit, or debit card. Virginia Tech students attending a Virginia Tech Union sponsored event must present their Hokie Passport at the door.

Yes. Tickets may be purchased by visiting either the web site for the Ticket Office. You will be emailed a confirmation of your purchase shortly after placing your order, your tickets will arrive in a second email. If you do not receive your tickets in a timely manner, please contact the Ticket Office immediately.

Unfortunately, refunds from the Ticket Office are granted only when events are postponed or cancelled.

The Ticket Office is will allow exchanges for performances $3 provided exchanges are made prior to the show’s performance. 

Maybe. Only seats in the center section of Burruss Auditorium are numbered consecutively. Seats in the other sections are numbered odd or even.

Our office is located on the first floor in Squires Student Center, on the Henderson Hall side of the student center  at the entrance closest to downtown.

Recording devices and flash photography are not allowed in the venue for most events. Please check with the box office or sponsoring organizations for specific restrictions for each show.

Monday through Friday, 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. The office is normally closed during winter and summer breaks and certain university holidays.

You should bring the ticket to the event and have it revalidated by one of our attendants. You will need to pay the difference between the student and non-student prices. A revalidation sticker will be placed on the back of the ticket. This will allow an individual without a student I.D. into the venue.

No. You may buy several tickets at the Virginia Tech student rate, but each student must present their ID at the door for Virginia Tech Union sponsored events.

Seniors qualify for discounts at 65 years of age for some events. 

Yes. In most cases, our over-the-counter patrons may select a specific seat location for our performances. The one exception: first day of sales for the popular concerts. Customers purchasing these tickets on the first day will be given the next best-available seat.

If you are attending an event held in Squires Student Center, we suggest that you try the parking lot just across the street from the student center. It is divided into various permit types - F/S, Commuter, Graduate - and meters (see map and please observe all posted parking signs). Weekdays before 5 p.m., those with the proper permit may park in those designated spaces. If you do not have a permit, you may park in any metered spot before 5:00 p.m. You will not need a permit after 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or any time on weekends. The Media parking lot may also be used Monday through Friday after 5 p.m. and any time on weekends. The entrance to this lot is located on Otey Street next to the Architecture Annex.

For events in Burruss Auditorium, we suggest that you park in the large commuter lot or parking garage located on the corner of West Campus Drive and Perry Street across from Holtzman Alumni Center.  The auditorium is easily accessible from this lot by walking between Cowgill and Derring Halls. Walk approximately a hundred yards to the front entrance to the building.

A visitor pass is needed for parking around the Drillfield until 8 p.m. weekdays. If you arrive on campus before 5 p.m., please pick up a free visitor pass from the Visitor Information Center, which is located on Prices Fork Road. After 5 p.m., please go to the Campus Police Station, which is located at 200 Southgate Dr. (third left turn on Southgate Drive as you come from the U.S. 460 bypass).

Please observe and obey all traffic and parking regulations while driving on campus. If you have specific questions regarding parking, please contact Parking Services at 540-231-3200.

All employees at Virginia Tech are eligible to purchase tickets at a reduced rate for themselves. Some events do not have a Faculty/Staff buyer category.

If you experience any problems with your online order, please contact the Ticket Office immediately. Such problems would include: being charged twice for one order, the Internet going down while trying to complete an order, or not receiving an email confirmation of your purchase in a timely manner. Before contacting the Ticket Office, please check to see that your information is entered correctly and make sure you are using a valid credit card (such as one that has not expired or has reached its maximum limit).

If you lose a personal item, please attempt to get back into the venue as soon as possible. If you are unsuccessful, call lost and found at 540-231-6906 in Squires Student Center for additional instructions.

The buy now page will show the date and time for each concert.

You must enter in the address that corresponds to the billing address of the credit card you are using to purchase your tickets. If that address (i.e. permanet/home) is different than your local (i.e. school) address, then you must notify the Ticket Office immediately with your request to mail them to your local address. We also can hold your tickets for you to pick up at the Ticket Office during our hours of operation, To notify the Ticket Office, please call 540-231-5615, stating that you do not want your tickets mailed to the address on your order, or forward your ticket purchase email confirmation to with "HOLD TICKETS" in the subject line.
